Who we are

payDrive is an independent marketing and customer support brand for Rent to Own vehicle finance. Vehicle finance agreements are facilitated through Kenings RTO, subject to their approval criteria and terms.

What we collect

Our Contact and Enquiry forms collect only what's needed to start a conversation: your name, phone number, email address, and the details you provide (such as your message, area, preferred vehicle, employment status, or approximate income bracket).

Our full Apply form collects more, because it's the same information Kenings RTO needs to assess a rent-to-own agreement: your personal and contact details, identity number, home and employment details, banking details (bank, branch, and account — never a full card number), household income and expenses, and next-of-kin, family, and trade reference contact details. Every section beyond the basics is clearly marked optional or collapsible, and you only need to complete what applies to you.

We deliberately do not ask for your race or ethnic group, and we never ask for a full credit or debit card number, on this website. We also never collect ID documents, payslips, or bank statements through this website — those are only ever collected securely, later in the process, once we're in direct contact with you.

Information about other people

The Apply form asks for contact details of your next of kin, spouse (if applicable), close family members, and trade references. If you provide this information, please make sure those individuals are comfortable with you sharing it — it's used solely to support your application (for example, as a contactable reference), and is subject to the same protections as your own information.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss vehicle availability and pricing, and — where you choose to proceed — to pass your details to Kenings RTO to begin the finance application process on their terms.

Who we share it with

If you proceed past the initial enquiry stage, your information is shared with Kenings RTO, the finance provider that processes and approves rent-to-own agreements. If you submit the full Apply form, you're also consenting to Kenings RTO making enquiries with credit bureaus and reference agencies as part of assessing your application, and to sharing your payment behaviour with those agencies during your agreement — this is explained in full on the Apply form itself before you submit. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Your consent

Our Contact, Enquiry, and Apply forms all require you to actively tick a consent checkbox before submitting — nothing is pre-selected for you. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require us (or Kenings RTO) to retain it. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@paydrive.example.co.za.

Security

This site runs entirely over HTTPS, and we never place personal information in page URLs or links. Form submissions are handled by our hosting provider's built-in form-handling service.
